Dr. Nadine St. Louis (emerita) was named the first poet laureate for the city of Eau Claire by the Eau Claire City Council April 13. St. Louis was honored for the quality of her work as a poet and for the numerous ways she has supported and encouraged writers and the arts in Eau Claire.
